Pasta in Pasadena ....

I received an invitation from the Pasadena Fire Department to come down and help celebrate Fire Awareness Day at Station #81 on March 27th 2004. They were having a giant spaghetti dinner to help raise money for the station. A good time was had by all.

Everyone is milling about anxiously awaiting the spaghetti  and delicious carrot cake to be served.

Firefighter Dennis Leonard was the man most responsible for the success of the event ... and in getting me there.

Can you guess what this future Firefighteršs name is? Gage!

The crew of Station #81.

Nancy McFarland, on my right, brought some fun stuff from CLAFMA for me to sign and to help raise money for The County of Los Angeles Fire Museum.

I put in a call to LA County Fire, and invited USAR down to join in the festivities. They were a big hit, not only with the kids but the adults as well. To my right: USAR Captain Donald W. Griffiths, Firefighter Specialist Leo Ibarra and Firefighter Paramedic Richard Atwood. Išm holding Leo Ibarrašs brand new all leather helmet. Itšs a newly designed helmet just for USAR. Also, Leo is the man who designed USARšs patch.

Herešs a little game for you. Find me in this picture.
